Batya and Jerry had their wedding in Sedona in July at beautiful Amara Creekside Resort. We almost didn't accept their wedding because we had just had our baby Kaiden in June but we are so glad we did! Batya and Jerry were so sweet and had a beautiful wedding! We were very honored to be a part of such a beautiful wedding on an amazing summer day!

Batya had a white theme and had everyone wear white to the wedding. Not only was it a great idea for a summer wedding in Sedona but it also looked great!

Here are a few of our favorite pictures from the day. The fabulous floral and decor were from Showstoppers Floral and the elegant cake is by Sedona Cake Couture.

These are photos that Katrina took one morning as we were headed out to church. Kai was demonstrating interest in a chunk of banana, and so I was teasing him with it and he thought it was funny. The first image is of Kai giggling, and the second one is him macking down on the banana. The kid is only 10 weeks old in the photo and he's already eating banana! Now at almost 14 weeks old he is beginning to teethe! Poor little buddy... That can't be fun...

Well... we've been wanting to do this for over a year... we even got a blog going last year but just didn't keep up with it. :) I'll try to post a link to it in another entry so you can check it out my weddings and postings from last year.

We're excited to be able to use this blog as a way for clients to find out more about Andrew and I and about our work.

I'll start off our first blog entry with an image of our favorite new subject, our baby Kaiden. :) The image was shot by my husband Andrew.

Andrew started shooting with me last year and he has really grown as a photographer. He has a backgound in art (painting) so I think photography really comes naturally to him. He has really become a valuable part of our studio... in addition to being a second photographer on our weddings, Andrew has taken the role of studio manager to help with all the not so glorious but very necessary work behind the scenes.... managing the thousands of files and gigs of data on our computers, keeping all our tech equipment updated, answering emails etc. THANK YOU honey! :)
