Sara and Drew - Amara Resort and Spa, Sedona, Arizona
Did you ever see the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off ? We basically had the fantastic opportunity to shoot Ferris' wedding last month! Only kidding - partly! Sara and Drew have so much soul and character, together, that if you don't have enough they might be able to lend you some. What a hilarious couple!
Before the ceremony they were sending each other gushy declarations of love via text messaging on their cell phones. During the ceremony, right as the pastor indicated it was time to kiss the bride, Drew's best man and brother leaned in to the rescue with anAltoid breath mint. And the icing on the cake had to be the reception, where Sara and Drew and their best 100 friends danced crazy into the night. It was at this time where Drew mimed a rider on a motorcycle and had Sara climb on back for a ride around the dance floor.
All I can say is that we have been blessed again to be able to work with such a fun couple. Sara and Drew, thank you so much for having us at your wedding and sharing your day with us!

Katrina & Andrew you have certainly done what every good appetizer should do: leave you begging for more. The pictures are adorable, tasteful, artistic, candid, or just plain fun...or all of those things.
We've been flipping through digital pictures from friends and family and reliving the once and a lifetime experience of our "Ferris Bueler" wedding ever since it passed us by a few weeks ago. There are dancing shots and hugging shots and friends at table 3 or 6 or 9 but without a doubt it has blown us a way to see (in just 10 or so shots, right?) what you two are capable of capturing with a camera.
We look forward to ordering some of those great photos and have already forwarded the blog onto about 30 people...hope you don't mind.
My brother wants to know if we were running back to the wedding or if the caption should say "Hurry to the memorial day bridal sale" and be posted in a magazine or newspaper somewhere.
Thanks a lot you guys. We really do appreciate the extra effort you have put into our wedding and hope you know that none of it has gone unnoticed. We wish you all the success and happiness you look for as you continue growing your talens, your business, and your family.
Sara and Drew, thank you so much for your kind words! You guys were so much fun, from the engagement session ( which we'll post here on the blog as well), dinner that night at Haunted Hamburger, and on to the day of the wedding! Everything seemed to go so smoothly and there were so many laughs, smiles, fun people, and the constant antics of you ( Drew) and your brother and groomsmen. You all are just fun, genuine, and very pleasant to be around...! Thanks again for having us there for such an important day... :)
