Susanna and Paul ~ Los Abrigados Resort and Spa, Sedona, Arizona

Susanna and Paul were married on June 30th, 2007, at Los Abrigados Resort and Spa. It's a beautiful resort that sits right on Oak Creek, which runs through the center of Sedona.

We really enjoyed photographing Susanna and Paul, and had almost as much fun getting to know their families.

They make a gorgeous couple, and we know there are many years of happiness ahead! Thanks, Susanna and Paul, for inviting us to spend the day with you! :)

The amazing cakes were created by Andrea Blaut of Sedona Cake Couture, and the floral arrangements were created by Mountain High Flowers, in West Sedona.

Dr. Ted Byers ~ Sedona Smiles, Sedona, Arizona

Ever get that ' pre-dentist-visit-anxiety?' Be anxious no more, because we have the perfect solution!

We suggest you plan a relaxing vacation to Sedona, and while you're at it, stop by Dr. Ted's dental practice Sedona Smiles for a cosmetic dentistry overhaul! Of course, right afterwards you'd want to have us shoot your portraits.. :)

Dr. Ted recently had us do this portrait shoot. The first image is one he'll be using as part of his new branding strategy on print collateral for his dental practice. After the serious photos, we decided to just do some fun stuff.

Signature Books ~ Sedona Bride Studio Highlights

Recently we posted the images from Leslie and Rob's wedding, where we mentioned the fabulous signature book we made for them of the engagement pictures.

It was such an overwhelming success, and the guests had a lot of fun inscribing their ' best wishes' for the bride and groom.

Reggie and Alex ~ Enchantment Resort,Red Rock Crossing at Cathedral Rock, Sedona, Arizona

Reggie and Alex were such a delight to work with. We LOVE it when couples are full of emotion and passion. There were just so many amazingly beautiful and real moments that happened during their wedding day we don't even know where to start.

The celebration began even before they arrived in Sedona, as Reggie, Alex and their families and guests flew in on their private jet and spent a few days before their wedding enjoying each other's company.

They are both amazingly beautiful people and we were so privileged to witness and document their magical wedding day.

The floral work is by Amy and Vicki at Bliss Floral, the cake artist is fabulous Andrea at Sedona Cake Couture, and coordination was provided by Karen Lynn at Sedona Wedding Planner. The details were simply fantastic. The wedding ceremony took place in front of beautiful Cathedral Rock, and was officiated by Shanandoah Sterling.






















I love this moment Reggie had as she prepared ... you can just feel the emotions in the image.






















Alex's son was full of energy and running back and forth to announce the arrival of the trolley that was to take Alex and the guests to Cathedral Rock.













Reggie's son walked her down the red rock aisle.










The light at Red Rock Crossing is just sooooo beautiful before sunset... a photographers paradise!







There was a beautiful butterfly release and it was just such a magical moment when one of them actually landed on Reggie's hair and stayed there for the longest time.
















The atmosphere and food at Cucina Rustica is extraordinary!




As a surprise, Karen Lynn prepared a romantic hideaway for Reggie and Alex in their room at Enchantment Resort.

Stereolab with Herbie Mann ~ One Note Samba

A long time favorite of Andrew and Katrina's, Stereolab prooves over and over with each release that jazz is not dead!

Stereolab takes it even one step further by cutting this track with renowned jazz master and flutist Herbie Mann.

Herbie Mann gave new life to the flute in his jazz compositions, and is the original beat hippie. Other musicians, like Jethro Tull, went on to define their own genres of rock with this influence.

Back to Stereolab, the albums Emperor Tomato Ketchup and Dots and Loops won't disappoint!

Leslie and Rob ~ Amara Resort and Spa, Sedona, Arizona

Leslie and Rob were married on June 2nd, 2007. Friends came from far and near to honor them on their big day! Leslie and Rob are the most down to earth friendly couple. We really loved working with them through their engagement session to the last shot of the night at the wedding. Thanks for being so amazing to work with!

We made a fabulous engagement book for them from the engagement session images. It was a huge success and the guests loved signing the unusual guest book.

The beautiful floral work is by Bliss Floral and the cake of course is by Andrea at Sedona Cake Couture and the event was smoothly coordinated by Julie Wong of Event Concierge.

This is actually the second bouquet toss... the first time the little girl caught it and she ended up tearing up saying she didn't want to get married! Too cute! So she and Leslie tossed the bouquet the second time together.



Perfect timing! At the end of the night we snagged a shot of the engagement book that all the guests signed during the reception.
