da da ... father's day at home

I hope all you dads had a fabulous day relaxing and spending time with those you love! I couldn't ask for a better da da for Kaiden. Andrew, you're amazing and Kaiden and I are so very blessed with you in our lives. I love you both so very much!!!

We had a scare this week where Kaiden had to go from one emergency room to another and it turned out that Kaiden was fine and it was not what the doctors had thought it was ... Andrew and I were really shaken up of course and the whole experience reminded us of what is so important to us, our family.

So I took a few pics today of our family, something I should do more often... We're always so busy capturing moments for other families that we often forget to document our own special moments in our family. I love the images because you can really see what a fantastic and loving dad Andrew is and how much they love each other. We're so very blessed.

Lifestyle Family Session ~ The Maxwell Family

I love photographing families! This was such a fun session. Great light, an amazing family... we all had a great time. Taylor is a sweetheart and very excited about the soon to be arrival of her baby sister. I love shooting in natural light... kids are so much more comfortable in their own home and really show their true colors.

There were so many awesome images it was hard for me to just pick a few for the blog. I can't wait to go back to photograph the baby when she arrives!

Kristin, Curtis and baby Konner - Flagstaff, Arizona

What a sweet sweet couple and what sweet friends. We first met Kristin and Curtis when they were planning their wedding. We had the honor of photographing their beautiful wedding at L’Auberge de Sedona. We’re so privileged to become friends with a lot of our clients, and Kristin and Curtis have become dear to us. We only wish we lived closer to them!

We shot Kristin's maternity session just in time because not more than a week after the shoot she had their baby boy ~ a whole 2 months early! He’s done incredibly well and has grown and grown… from just over 4 pounds to 9 pounds… this boy loves to eat and he’s such a cutie!
