An Sedona engagement session is almost always guaranteed to wow. Where else can you have your pictures taken and sort of feel like you’ve been to the surface of Mars? Even if your wedding is taking place somewhere else, Sedona still ranks as one of the most beautiful little corners of our country and an engagement session in Sedona will create fun memories of something unique you got to do with your fiancé. This shoot took place in the winter and Sedona looks as beautiful as ever (as do Sarah and Nat!). The although winter isn’t the most popular time for a Sedona engagement session it definitely is one of the most beautiful times of the year with the sun riding low in the sky during winter months, it’s a beautiful time for photography.

Sarah and Nat, who are not strangers to these parts, are full of smiles. They are super head-over-heals for each other. It was so fun to spend a beautiful winter afternoon with them playing in Sarah’s old stomping grounds. She spent a lot of time around Red Rock Crossing ( also known as the Cathedral Rock area, or even Crescent Moon Ranch; every rock formation in Sedona has one or two names!) as a kid, so it was super special for them to have their engagement session photos taken in Sedona, making new memories somewhere so meaningful to her. And now, it’s meaningful to them both for new reasons!

We also got to explore an area we’ve never hiked before. Thank you for that Sarah! We hope that the East Coast weather isn’t treating you too badly, and that these pictures warm you up and remind you of sunny Arizona!

Sarah and Nat’s wedding later took place at the incredible Alcantara Vineyards and Winery, with the ceremony taking place at their incredible onsite chapel, and the reception taking place on the beautiful tasting lawn!
