Agave of Sedona Wedding – Julia and Tyler

“We’ve waited 858 days for this, let’s party accordingly” … and celebrate they did! It was a day filled with lots of love, joy and emotions. Their wedding was part of the set of weddings over the pandemic that was moved and replanned. Their amazing wedding planner Casey Green took them by the hand the whole way through and you’ll see the love and time and connection Casey and Julia created through all the ups and downs of rescheduling their Agave of Sedona wedding.

Julia and Tyler are such beautiful people, inside and out. We were so happy to capture these amazing moments for them. They’ve visited again since for a maternity session! It’s always a joy to see couples again see their families grow and reminisce. Here are a few favorite wedding photos from their Agave of Sedona wedding.

Prep took place at a wonderful airbnb off of Forest Road. The girls got ready upstairs while they guys got ready downstairs.

Julia and her wedding planner Casey Green having an amazing moment together. They had been through so many phone calls and emails while rescheduling the wedding and it was truly a special moment for the two of them to have the day starting to come together.

Casey is worth her weight in gold!

Juila’s momma’s expression is priceless …

Wedding party photos at Tlaquepaque. It’s a great place to go to get out of the sun and enjoy beautiful architecture. An important note is that they do require a photo permit.

Mmmm look at this light! so pretty!

And now back at the Agave of Sedona wedding to begin the ceremony!

An Agave of Sedona wedding can have tricky lighting on a regular sunny Arizona day. We supplement light via our powerful flash system so that the shaded ceremony can have extra light to match the light on the red rocks. Without it, on a sunny day, the red rocks would be washed out and or completely not visible. In the photo below, the light on the Julia and Tyler is from the flash we added.

That just married feeling!

And off to the red rocks for some sunset photos!

This is the closest red rock spot to Agave of Sedona with extraordinary views. It’s a quick hike to the top where 360 degree views await.

The lighting was perfect for their couples photos. This is such a great time because the portrait time is one of the only parts of the you’ll be alone as a couple and just get time to enjoy together away from family and guests.

You can see Courthouse and Bell Rock in the backdrop from this angle. It really is a stunning spot.

We love to keep an eye on the expression of guests and family during toasts and the ceremony. While the wedding day is about the couple, it’s also about people they love.

A special moment with dad during the father daughter dance.

While we focus on candid moments, it’s always fun to get portraits with groups of friends that are important to you!

These are just a few of the 800+ images captured for Julia and Tyler’s wedding. We feel so blessed to be able to witness and capture so many special moments both small and large on a wedding day! We might be a bit bias but we don’t think there’s a prettier place in Arizona than Sedona to have a wedding!
