Sophia and Ryan’s wedding at Sky Ranch Lodge, Sedona, was an incredibly beautiful day, complete with a gorgeous couple reciting their vows against the majestic beauty of a quintessential Sedona, Arizona, red rock backdrop from atop Airport Mesa in West Sedona.

This couple had their first meeting at the other-worldly Tlaquepaque, which sits comfortably underneath gigantic Sycamore trees along Oak Creek. Tlaquepaque is so unique because it is the only place in northern Arizona where you can be fooled into thinking you’re in old colonial-Spanish Mexico, or even perhaps a small town in Tuscany.

While gorgeous Sedona sunsets are not always a guarantee, the opposite is not half-bad. The high elevation and desert dryness make Sedona perfect for romantic blue dusk skies, and a twilight that will take your breath away!

The best photo stories are told when pictures are of real things happening to real people; real moments. The story of this image could be many things; the bride about to see family for the first time that day, the bride about to meet the groom for the first time that day, etc..

The story of this photo is that this bride is heading off to tie the knot, where the culmination of her anticipation will be heartfelt wedding vows in front of her friends and family, and a sweet kiss from the man she loves.

Bride preparation took place at El Portal Sedona hotel, and the ceremony took place at the incredibly beautiful Tlaquepaque Sedona in the Patio de la Campanas.

Maureen and Kaaba came to us just a few weeks before their wedding date with plans for a midweek wedding in Sedona. They were planning on eloping to Sedona and picked the beautiful Enchantment Resort as their Sedona wedding venue. The put off their plans for a big wedding back home and decided to be close to Kaaba’s family in Arizona. It couldn’t have been more perfect.

We helped Maureen to come up with the best time schedule and location for their ceremony at Enchantment Resort. In addition to the ceremony we planned a little hike to an amazing location we know that looks down on Enchantment Resort. Maureen got her hiking shoes on and they were troopers as the hiked their way up to an overlook with stunning red rock views an amazing panoramic of scenic Sedona. The backdrop made it easy to capture some beautiful wedding photos in Sedona for them to remember their day by.

Here are a few highlights from their Enchantment Resort elopement.

We have nothing but love for these two! It’s like a day hasn’t passed since we last saw these two love birds… Anne was her usual bubbly and beautiful self … and Max still loving on Anne by putting up with pictures, lol … We laughed about how his family and friends in the UK were making fun of them for taking pictures of everything, including maternity pictures, as it’s not such a common thing there. The important thing is that these pictures will be treasured in the years to come 😉

We fell in love with these two, and their families, back in 2012 when we photographed their beautiful intimate wedding in Sedona. Now they are having a BABY! It was fun to go back to where it all started (photography-wise anyway, lol) back to Red Rock Crossing where we shot their engagement pictures all those years back.

Anne and Max, we couldn’t be happier for you both! With you two as parents, this baby is the luckiest little baby in the world!

What better way to celebrate 4th of July weekend? We got to celebrate with Lindsey and Anish at Enchantment Resort Sedona when they commissioned us to do their wedding rehearsal dinner, and wedding day photography. Lindsey, Anish, and their family and friends, enjoyed a weekend celebration in one of the most beautiful little corners of the world!

In true Sedona destination wedding fashion, this Canadian couple brought family and friends in from all over Canada and the USA to attend the celebration. It was a light mix of East Indian traditions, set to a more modern and western wedding theme. And, why not set a record of wedding firsts? This was our largest bridal party ever, with a total of 30 bridesmaids and groomsmen!

This time of year there can be rainy, so the day was not without a few quirks of its own ~ like a 10 minute downpour right as we were photographing the family formals and bridal party pictures… While everyone was worried about he rain, we know it makes for some fun pictures, and everyone became so lighthearted and fun about it that everyone was talking about it for the rest of the day. Thanks to the rain it stayed cool and the rest of the day went off without a hitch!

We can’t say enough about what a great team of vendors this was! At the expert coordination of Susan Perry, with Enchantment Resort and Spa’s Ivis, and with each member of the vendor team working hard, everything turned out beautifully. The wedding reception was originally to be an outdoor wedding reception. But, Susan, Ivis, and Amy Mills ( of Bliss Extraordinary Floral) were able to quickly get things moved to a beautiful indoor wedding reception area because of the threat of rain.

We’re always so lucky to have couples that truly love each other and their family and friends. This is so true of Lindsey and Anish. They had the most incredible smiles and gentle words and fun with their guests! Thank you so much for entrusting this day to us. These pictures will make the perfect memory for you in the years to come! We wish you happy lives together!

Here are some additional pictures from the wedding rehearsal dinner, followed by some of the gorgeous and stylish wedding day details.
