Weddings at Sedona Heritage Museum
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Sedona Heritage Museum is a beautiful Sedona wedding ceremony location tucked into a quiet neighborhood in Uptown Sedona. Red rocks surround the property and provide a beautiful backdrop a quintessential Sedona wedding. It’s relatively little known as far as wedding locations go and because of this in the past 10 years we’ve only photographed a handful of weddings there. Be sure to check out this hidden gem for your Sedona wedding … and while you are at it learn a little about the history of Sedona. 🙂
If you are planning to have 20-30+ guests and want an elopement style wedding or micro wedding in Sedona, but understand how difficult it can be to find parking for 20-30 guests on the public red rock trails, Sedona Heritage Museum offers beautiful red rock views and parking as well as a private space for your group without having the larger expense of having a wedding ceremony at a resort.
Up to 100 guests can be accommodated.
Sedona Bride Insider Wedding Tip
Parking is limited so for weddings with larger numbers of guests shuttles or trolley is recommended. Because of the beautiful views, it’s a popular option for outdoor Sedona wedding ceremonies which are often followed by a reception at Tlaquepaque or other Sedona reception locations.
After the ceremony and family photos, and while guests are on their way to a the reception location, we recommend stopping by a separate red rock location for couples photos at sunset.
Planning a Sedona wedding destination wedding can be difficult without help from a local wedding professional. As a Sedona local who has photographed hundreds of Sedona weddings from small elopements to micro weddings to large full day weddings at L’Auberge and Enchantment, I know the many Sedona wedding venue options available to you in Sedona.
